About Nu Lambda Lambda.
The Nu Lambda Lambda Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated was chartered and established on January 4, 2003 in Jersey City, New Jersey. The chapter was chartered under the auspices of the 28th Second District Representative Brother Benjamin R. Jeffers at the Second District Council Meeting held at the City College in New York City, New York. The Chapter was birthed from a unique caliber of Omega men that were originally from Jersey City and maintained their roots to the community. The men of NLL shared a common vision to serve the needs of the undeserved not only in Jersey City but in the Hudson County area. The Brothers of Omega from Jersey City found these original thoughts as the purpose for this illustrious chapter:

Members of NLL wasted no time in building a bridge to span the tide in Jersey City. The leadership was formulated. Founding Fathers Brother Dwayne Adams (Kappa Eta 1996) served as NLL’s first Chapter Basileus, while Brother Tyrone Rose (Epsilon Lambda 1986) served as First Vice Basileus, Brother Sean Wilson (Gamma 1984) served as Keeper of Finance, and Brother Rashawn Adams (Iota Gamma 1995) served as Keeper of Records and Seal.
